Sudha Murty is an Indian educator, author, philanthropist and former chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. She is married to the co-founder of Infosys, N. R. Narayana Murty. Murty was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for social work by the Government of India in Later in , she was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award in India.

Mysore Hiriyanna (–)[1] was an eminent Indian philosopher, Sanskrit scholar and authority on Indian aesthetics.[2] He was a Professor of Sanskrit at the University of Mysore and a contemporary of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. His classes on Indian Philosophy were comprehensive. His classroom dictations, published by Allen & Unwin in book form eller gestalt as "Outlines of Indian Philosophy[3]" brought Hiriyanna international recognition. This was a seminal work on Indian Philosophy.
