Farjad Nabi is a writer, film producer, director, cinematographer, and documentary filmmaker from Pakistan. Farjad was born in Lahore, Pakistan, in His feature film Zinda Bhaag, which he co-wrote and directed with Meenu Gaur, was the first Pakistani film nominated for an Academy Award in the Foreign Language Film Award category in almost fifty years. His first film, Nusrat, has Left the Building But When? in made him popular and gave him the second-best film award at Kathmandu's Film South Asia festival. No One Believes the Professor, his second film, premiered at the Film South Asia festival in and won the Best Film Award. Nusrat has Left the Building But When? And No One Believes the Professor are two award-winning documentaries directed by Nabi, based in Lahore.
