    Amanda Stott (born on May 6, ) is a Canadian pop singer from Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

    Amanda grew up on her family farm but her father was a saxophonist and pianist. She started singing in her church choir when she was just three years old and first gained prominence as a country singer at the Dauphin CountryFest. In , she was signed to Warner Music Canada and her first self-titled CD was released in This album prompted single "Black is Black" which quickly became a hit on country radio and television. She gained fame in the United States when Country Music Television started to air some of her videos. She also won a Juno Award for Best New Solo Artist.
