The lastest venture from Desk doesn't feature crazy combos nor game-breaking bugs but instead acknowledges the many times Capcom went above and beyond to add little Easter eggs to a handful of their older games.
In titles like Street Fighter Alpha, Capcom vs. SNK, and Street Fighter 3, developers snuck in a ton of cameos, references, and special animations that would only trigger if certain conditions were met. Some of them were particularly clever, and will no doubt bring a smile to your face.

Watch Daigo’s Kage face off against Tokido’s Urien
With the 2020 Capcom Pro Tour on hold due to the COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic, FGC legends Daigo “The Beast” Umehara and Hajime “Tokido” Taniguchi have been grinding online with some new characters.
Daigo has apparently spent a lot of time practicing Kage after Guile’s V-Skill II, Sonic Dive was nerfed in the CE 202003 adjustment patch from Capcom. Also of note is that Daigo seems to have returned to a regular arcade stick, after spending some time using a hit box.
Meanwhile, Tokido has decided to pick up a backup character in Urien. Plenty of pro players have realized they need to have at least two main characters to make sure they have no matchup disadvantages during competitive matches.
The two recently matched up against each other online, to the delight of FGC fans around the world.

When I play Dark Souls, it’s rare that I spend time learning how to properly counter attacks; it’s easier (and because I’m supremely lazy) to dodge out of the way. And when I play fighting games, I’m usually the asshole that’s spamming attacks, hoping to catch someone off guard, rather than defeating them with any semblance of strategy or skill. Way of the Passive Fist, developed by a group of hardcore fighting fans, hopes to change the minds of people like myself, by developing a brawler whose sole emphasis is on avoiding attacks, rather than constantly dishing them out.
I stumbled upon Way of the Passive Fist while roaming the floor at PAX this past weekend. I was drawn to the game’s 90s-style arcade cabinet, made in the style of those classic Konami/Capcom beat ’em ups.
