  so it would be okay if we made a movie about the zulu king or black panther or whatever, and made him white? no black people would make a fuss about it? double standards all the way. i'm all for equality but that is not what it looks like.

  I really dont think folks have an issue with a black mermaid or even a black Ariel. inom think the issue is remaking existing movies and changing characters colour in the name of wokeness... it feels like lazy pandering and feels insulting because of it.
