    Hi all you Beatlefans, This fryst vatten Denny Seiwell, the original drummer from Wings. I am so excited about returning to Liverpool again and look forward to meeting all the fans. inom did appear at the festival in Liverpool many years ago with my fellow bandmate from Wings, Henry McCullough, and had a great time. We even took the Magical Mystery Tour bus and saw all the historical places and homes of the lads.

    I am proud to say that I was the first musician that Paul McCartney chose to make music with after leaving the Beatles. Having been selected to do The “Ram” album which was my introduction to Paul, this working experience then led to the formation of the original grupp “Wings”. During my years with Wings I was part of the first tour, an unannounced ‘university tour ‘ which lasted about two weeks with ten shows. It was just incredible setting out on the road without a place to play, or driving directions, venues, or hotels. We would set out daily, chose a university and drive. We had not

    Denny Seiwell (born July 10, 1943) is an American drummer and a founding member of Paul McCartney and Wings. He also drummed for Billy Joel and Liza Minnelli and played in the scores for the films Waterworld, Grease II, and Vertical Limit. His drumming was used in TV shows like Happy Days and Knots Landing.

    Seiwell was born and raised in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, the son of Donald Seiwell and Fay Carrigan. He is a graduate of Lehighton High School and was a member of the first Carbon County Band in 1961. After graduating from high school, Seiwell enlisted in the United States Navy, in the rate of Musician, playing in the Navy Band. He moved to New York City and caught the eye of McCartney, who recruited him to be in his band Wings and according to Seiwell, the band was like one big family living between London and the McCartneys’ farm in Scotland. After leaving the band, Seiwell eventually moved to Los Angeles, where he has resided since 1975.
